Nocturnal carp fishing
Nocturnal carp fishing is authorized in the following places, as long as the rules set in the ministerial order are followed:
Forbidden Fishing Zones
Fishing is always forbidden:
- In the parts of the non-navigable and non-floatable watercourses that cross the woods under the forest regime.
- In the locks.
- In the vicinity of all dams, locks, déversoir, pertuis, vanne, arrivée d'eau et embouchure d'affluent for which an interdiction zone is signalled.
- In the zones the Administration indicates in the summer period, during pollution events, during certain works and actions of fish repopulation or because of an exceptional concentration of fish.
- From the top of the bridges in the navigable or floatable channels and watercourses.
- In the leisure ports, darses et bassins de garage, indicated by the Administration.
The interdicted zones are signalled by the following pictographs:
This pictograph is used alone when the interdiction is punctual. When the interdiction is prolonged along a certain distance, it is completed by the arrow presented below.
The signals may only be present in the right margin if the watercourse is narrow and the local disposition allows for this.
The arrow is used when the interdiction stretches over a long distance or when the terrain justifies it; the pictograph n° 1 can be completed with two arrows pointing in opposite directions, as a reminder.
The arrow may be accompanied by an indication of the distance where the interdiction is applied.
