The 1st Congress of Federations
The 1st Congress of Federations on October 16th 2004 allowed to delineate the territories managed by the federations in an unequivocal manner and to adapt them so as to facilitate management by sub-hydrographical basin. Four 4 basin structures and 14 sub-basin structures were also created here. During the congress a commission entitled Commission Technique d’Après Congrès (CTAC) was created with the mission of elaborating with the 26 federations, a reform project for the associative structures of the world of fishing of the Walloon region.
The 2nd Congress of Federations : the response to the demands of the Water Framework Directive
After a year of work, the CTAC approved a synthesis report that exposed the general reform project. This project was submitted to the approbation of the leaders for the 26 federations of The Walloon region during the 2nd Congress. This constitutes the response of the federations to the demands of the Water Framework Directive.
