Objectives of Fishing Schools

The passion for fishing has long been passed down from generation to generation. Fishing schools offer an alternative to the traditional transfer of knowledge from experienced anglers, providing a structured and secure environment for learning and training in the practice of fishing.

Activities Offered

Fishing schools introduce both young people and adults to the wonderful practice of fishing. Throughout these training sessions, a wide range of topics are covered: water, rivers, aquatic environments, wildlife, plant life, various fishing techniques, and everything needed to become a responsible, environmentally conscious angler.

Certified fishing schools are made up of individuals who have successfully completed a training program defined and accredited by the Budgetary Fund for Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Management in Wallonia. As such, all activities offered within these certified schools are conducted under high-quality guidance.

For more information about these training courses, which are structured across three levels, simply get in touch with a fishing school or the Maison wallonne de la pêche NPO.

Target Audience: Anyone interested in discovering fishing and its environment is welcome to join a fishing school and take part in a training course.
