Who are we
The Maison wallonne de la pêche brings together the 15 officially recognized sub-basin federations of Wallonia, representing approximately 65,000 anglers. The association’s core missions include providing logistical support to its member federations, promoting environmentally responsible fishing, educating and informing anglers, raising awareness among young people, and protecting and restoring aquatic ecosystems.
In addition, the association responds to various requests from the Walloon administration, the Walloon Government, and the Minister's Cabinet responsible for fishing.
The association also plays an active role in developing environmental protection and fisheries management legislation and regulations. Our legal department is available to support federations and individual anglers with legal guidance.
We are present at numerous trade shows and fairs and aim to promote fishing through a variety of modern channels, including our website and social media platforms.
